About

A critical care foundation, now focused on behavioral health.

I've been in healthcare since 2008, with the majority of my career spent in critical care — working with patients and families through some of their most acute, high-stakes medical moments. That environment shaped how I practice: fast, accurate clinical judgment, clear communication under pressure, and a commitment to treating the whole person rather than just a set of symptoms. In 2024, I brought that same depth of experience into psychiatry, becoming a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Today, through Mindful Health, LLC, I provide comprehensive telehealth psychiatric care for patients age 6 and up across Illinois, grounded in the clinical rigor I built over more than a decade and a half in medicine.

My approach is patient-centered from the first visit on. You know your life, your history, and your goals better than anyone — my role is to bring the clinical expertise, lay out your options clearly, and make decisions with you, not for you. Every treatment plan is a collaboration, and it's built around what actually matters to you.

“My goal isn't just symptom management — it's helping you become the best version of yourself, and build a life that feels genuinely happy and healthy.”

How I Practice

Comprehensive psychiatric care, start to finish.

Every patient begins with a thorough evaluation. From there, care is ongoing, collaborative, and adjusted as your needs change. Care is available to all patients ages 6 and up, located anywhere in Illinois.

01

Psychiatric Evaluation

A comprehensive initial assessment of your history, symptoms, and goals to build an accurate, individualized picture of your care needs.

02

Medication Management

Thoughtful prescribing and ongoing monitoring, with regular follow-up to track what's working and adjust what isn't.

03

Ongoing Care

Psychiatric care isn't one-and-done. I work with patients over time, coordinating with therapists and other providers when helpful.

Because I'm licensed in Illinois, I can currently see patients who are physically located in Illinois at the time of their appointment, regardless of where they otherwise live.

Headway manages scheduling, insurance verification, and billing for my practice — you'll handle all of that directly through their secure platform when you book.

Getting Started

From first hello to your first appointment.

Before any appointment is scheduled, I ask every new patient to complete a brief, free meet-and-greet. It's a quick conversation to make sure we're a good fit before we move forward together.

Step 1

Free meet & greet

A brief, no-cost introductory conversation before anything is scheduled. These are booked in up to 15-minute slots, though in practice they often take just a few minutes — enough time to ask questions and confirm we're a good fit.

Step 2

Check your insurance & book

Once we've confirmed fit, Headway handles scheduling, insurance verification, and payment, and will show you available times for your initial evaluation.

Step 3

Your first appointment

Expect a comprehensive history and a detailed conversation about your concerns and goals, along with education about any conditions and medications that may be relevant to your care. I also welcome you to bring your own thoughts on treatments you feel may be a good fit, so we can discuss them together.

Step 4

Ongoing care by telehealth

Log in from wherever you're located in Illinois for future visits — no office visit required, ever.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to know before you begin.

Why do I need a free meet-and-greet before scheduling?

I require a brief, free meet-and-greet before any appointment is scheduled to make sure we're a good fit before committing to care together. These are booked in slots of up to 15 minutes, though in reality most conversations only take a few minutes.

What should I expect at my first full appointment?

Your first appointment includes a comprehensive history and a detailed discussion of your concerns and goals. I'll also walk you through education on any conditions and medications that may be relevant to your care, so you understand your options clearly.

I encourage patients to come with any thoughts on treatments they feel may be a good fit — we'll discuss those together as part of building your care plan.
